Waterfalls, crater lakes and a wild green coastline at the edge of Europe.
In history
Found around 1452 by Diogo de Teive, Flores is the westernmost island of Europe: waterfalls, crater lakes and green cliffs.
Its whaling factory at Boqueirão is now a centre about the sea, and the whole island is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
